power steering squeking, where to start
After changing the K member, and taking off the rack and pinion (the assembly that turns the wheels), I am getting squeking from the steering system when turning at stops or at any speed. I know my car badly needs an alignment, but I don't want to pay $80 and then have another alignment done after I fix my steering system noise. I don't have much knowledge in steering system fixing, and I know it is not a simple fix. Read many threads where people had problems, learned a bit already.
When I changed my rack and pinion, some air got in it. I will try bleeding my system. Also, what is a ball joint? Any ideas what could help me to fix the problem

oh and grease the ball joints that you messed with. you can easily identify them cuz they have a little bleeder lookin thing on them and thats where you grease the **** with a grease gun. you'll find them on the pivotal joints of your steering system like on the back of your wheel spindle.
