Exclamation power programmer

is it wroth the money to buy a power programmer for a 97 firebird lt1 does it give you the power for the money

your better off sending the pcm out for a mail order tune.. you'll get more for your money ...

Check out the programming section..

I reccomend ION aka MADWOLF for a tune....

Great guy and provides excellent customer service as well !

the programmer is very useful untill u do any kind of mods like headers bigger throttle body..injectors...then u have to send it back to get reprogrammed to ur mods......madwolf has some nice pcm programming

Not really worth it

I purchased the Hypertech tuner only for the basic tunes..I went from 3.23's to 4.10 rear gear ratio and larger tires.It did help with that change but I saw marginal changes in performance with the tuner...So i would vote no on the purchase if i had to do it again...look for a cheaper option..
