Power Cuts Off At 4k RPM
 

Lost to a rice rocket because power was non existant at 4k rpm.

:(

FYI, If your AC/Cruise Fuse is blown you will not be able to make power after 4k rpm.

After losing the race I pulled over changed the fuse and got all my power back. Kinda wierd.

power loss up top is usually do to a faulty coil/coil wire. Try that first b/c its cheap:)

Here were my symptoms: at around 4k when flooring the car ... feels like a 4 banger, doesnt feel like a miss, just reves with little or no power. Shifts hard into next gear though.
Solution: New fuel pump, car had very low Fuel Pressure. Easy check would be to borrow a fuel pressure gauge and see what your fuel pressure is at before you decide to go with coil or fuel pump fixes :)
