I have my stock 2.73's on, never changed the gears at all. I noticed recently that there is a constant high pitched whine coming from my car. It sounds like it's coming from the rear end. Gonna try to change the rear oil I guess, haven't done that for the last 20k miles. If anyone has experienced a similar sound, please let me know how you got rid of it.

Yah, I have the same or similar problem. Mine's more of a medium pitch gear whine. It's been doing it for at least the last 20k miles and hasn't gotten noticably worse. I changed diff fluid, but that didn't help. I'm just gonna drive it 'till the gears go (which shouldn't be too long with my new motor/trans). If it bugs you enough, put some 3.73s in.
