I'm thinking about trying to do a simple port job on an extra pair of cylinder heads.
Has anyone ever successfully done this without a flow bench?

 

It's probably better to have someone with professional experience port your heads. I was toying around with the idea of porting my own heads, but decided against it.

But it can be done, but you have to be sure to make the ports flow about the same so conditions don't differ cylinder to cylinder.
