Port and Polish dudes .............

I'm about ready to fly these heads down the street. I got the kit from summit, the port and polish one, and there is no way you can finish both heads with this kit. I can even reach down the runners with this. I've been looking all over for carbide bits but no one has long ones.

How do you get into the bowls without the grinder hitting and screwing up the seats? Are they really that sensitive?

Are there like extensions to Die Grinders or Dremels? I sure as hell need one. How did you guys get deep into the runners????

I need some help pleaze

Eh, I use 6" shank carbide burrs...

You're using a Drill? Like a hand drill with a chuck? Oof.. IMO from what other people have told me when they tried stuff like that.. you're probably going to waste $ & time going at stuff with that :-/

You need a die grinder.. either an electric, or a pneumatic one with a 1/4" chuck & some carbide burrs if you actually want to port. The stuff they give you from standard abrasives etc. is like a racebike with training wheels... you'll feel good about it, but in reality, probably wont do much

Dude I just put a reply on your post about your R.R.'s for sale been looking for ya man. Anyway, no I'm using a Die Grinder...on compressor and a Dremel too. Sorry about that, I corrected it just frustrated. I thought I was doing good too. No one here has any carbide burrs that are that long. You know where I can get some?

Even the sand paper rolls dont go all the way in there. What did you do about that?

Ahh.. yeah you need some longer burrs, along with a 6" x 1/4" cartridge roll mandrel (end specs depend on what rolls yer using).

Yea, I know where you can get some... there's a few places online, industrial supply places like MSC/J&L/Goodson, phil, etc.
