Hey guys,tonight I started my car(cold) and when it fired up I heard a popping noise from the exhaust.Any clue what this could be.It's snowing here so it's kinda chilly outside too.

 

It normal when the car is cold. It should go away as the car warms up.

Edit: What type of exhaust are you running. Flowmaster are known to do that.

 

The cold-start POP usually scares girlfriends.

 

It's a Borla catback,3" catco cat,and stock manifolds.First time I've ever heard this.It only popped once.Then ran ok.

 

Mine pops when it's idleing and cold quite reguaraly.

As soon as it warms up - it's fine.

It's no biggie.

 

my borla does the same. Dont worry about it, just like everyone else said, its normal when not warmed up.

 

My Flowmaster pops even when its warm.
