Poor wires = bad 1/4 time?

Poor wires = bad 1/4 time?
One of my wires has 12,000 ohms of resistance and the others ranged from 400-1000 with the exception of my #1 which has 200 ohms. Could this be slowing me down in the 1/4 mile?
