I just did this mod too and so far it seems to work.

I used the ends of 2 old spark plugs boots that I cut off an placed it over the pins. It seemed to work well but I will test it out for a few days and let everyone know.

Cool. Actully I think the pice of hose that used is the same size as what your talking about, because I've used it before to start plugs.
