Poly or Poly/rubber for LCA's
 

Im getting the BMR LCA's tues. Do you guys suggest the poly or poly/rubber combo.

What are the pro's and con's of both?

If you want to do any autoX or improve handling, stay away from Poly/Poly. You will experience bind as your cars body tries to roll on corners, and the poly bushings refuse to yield. If you get a poly/rubber setup, the rubber will compress as the LCA twists, and you will not have to worry about bind.

If you want to improve handling under hard cornering, go with poly/rubber, or better yet poly/spherical. If you want to go fast in a straight line, poly/poly will have an advantage controlling wheel hop (more traction).

Looks like I may get the poly/poly ones. The twisties really aren't for me....:)

Be prepared for more noise from the poly/poly. You will need to grease them frequently to keep that crushed Styrofoam sound from happening. I have the poly/poly and often think that the poly/rubber might have been a better choice.

i use tbryne poly/poly lcas... Keep em greases (twice a year) and they'll be fine. Mine make zero noise...
i've taken some corners pretty hard and everything feels fine. Perhaps under the most serious of conditions they'd bind but I have yet to feel that happen.
