Poly motor mounts

im lookin for new motor mounts for my car, and autozone carries the poly motor mounts from ES. i was wondering if there is two different moutns for the pass and driver side. the part # from ES at autozone that i saw is 3.1116g. Is that good for both sides or do i need a different one?

Re: Poly motor mounts

I just ordered mine online I beleive from summit. I wouldnt trust autozone or any parts store to get somthing like that correct personaly. And the driver side and passenger side mounts are different. When I got my mounts I had to cut them down a bit to make them fit in the shell, but no big deal.

Re: Poly motor mounts

Mine were different on each side, is the part number for the set of 2, or just an indivdual one?

Re: Poly motor mounts

3.1116

3.1127

alpha at the end should only represent color/for instance (R) for red

Thumbs up Re: Poly motor mounts

I have the poly ES mounts and don't notice any additional vibration from the stock ones.

Re: Poly motor mounts

i am replacing the mounts cuz i noticed a nice jolt feeling and a cling sound when i gave the car half throttle from a stand still. i had my bro hold the brake and put a load on the car, and then engine deffinately moved like 4 inches to the passenger side. so i first replaced the engine mount, and sure enough it was completely torn off. So i was going to replace the motor mounts anyways, but just lookin at it looked tough. but i guess i should do it while the car is still under constuction. anyways, gettting back on topic, i just went to end ES website and they showed two different mounts for both sides. the other one is exaclt what slowpoke said, 3.1127. I picked up the passenger side at autozone, but they didnt have the driver side. so i just ordered it at jegs. cant ebat the 2 day free shipping, but the handling charge killed it. but thanks alot guys for ur help

Re: Poly motor mounts

Two different mounts. Vibrations are more than NEW stock mounts, but for me it reduced vibes because my stock ones that were being replaced were pretty gone to begin with.
