Is there any gains to be made from just polishing heads. I dont know how to properly port and dont want to be messing up a fine pair of alum.heads. I can polish them easily though. Is it worth it to just polish. Im sure it certainly couldnt hurt..but is there proof of dyno gains that would justufy the time and effort?

Just polishing them will give you no gains.

It's the shape of the port, not the finish, that matters.
