Polished alternator

Anyone had that done ? was it expensive? pictures?

you can do it yourself with some elbow grease and a eastwood manifold polishing kit:

I would like a shiny alternator,but I have some gloss black in the garage, and its tempting to match the alt. with the intake manifold while its off
