Plugs and wires
You need a spark plug socket cut in half and a stubby open end wrench to turn the hex end of the socket. I think you can buy a shortened spark plug socket from one of the supporting vendors if you want. Definitely a set of ramps and some patience. Its not a quick job if you have the stock manifolds. Some people remove the alternator for better access. Expect it to take a full day being its your first time. Some are better reached from the top, some from the bottom. Just take your time and dont strip any threads and use dielectric grease, and gap the new plugs to spec.
Ok thanks. I just swaped the LT1 in my 95 3.4 V6 camaro. The LT1 has 54k miles on it and I didnt think that the plugs and wires would need changed so I didnt do it now I have it all put togher and it runs like ****. Its not changing gears right either/ its an automatic trans, changed filter and fluid. It starts up ok but has no power and is running realy rough. It changes gears at like 3500 rpms into second gear. Im sick from the money and all the work I did. I stripped the wrecked camaro I bought and stripped my camaro bought all parts as needed all in 7 days. If anyone has any helpful info please let me know thanks.
Are you running stock manifolds on the Lt1? if so I would swap with some pacesetter longtubes first before doing the plugs. lol.
No but really, just take your time, I was able to get all 8 from the top with stock manifolds and my fatass hands, holding nothing but a sparkplug socket and wrench.

NOT BAD GAS MILEGE NO POWER AND RUNS ROUGH WHEN IN GEAR.
the car is not responceive at all hardly no power. you cant even brake stand it to burn tire theres no power. Runs ok in park but when its in gear it gets real rough. Does anyone have any ideas of what is causeing this problem. Could it be a opti or plugs and wires.

plugs took me about 3hours. the drivers side wires are not to bad it is the passager side that is a pain in the butt the passager side alone took me 3 hours. most of the plugs i was able to get from up top the last one on the passager side is the hardest one (oil dip stick is in the way).
