plug wire locations affectng performance?

I just got done with a SLP header/OVC wire install, and the way I routed my passengers side plug wires I ran them down the alternator bracket pretty much between it and the alternator body. This has the unfortunate effect of running them all laying right next to each other in one big group...the drivers side is a little better but not much. What I'm wondering is could this possibly be causing some performance issues? The car runs fine, but I have heard in the past that running plug wires right next to each other can cause crossfiring...anyone have any thoughts on this?

As long as you are using good wires it shouldn't be an issue. Cheap wires are subjected to this. If that was the case then the wires would probably ground out against the block or any other grounded metal surface. It would be to hard for the current to go through two sets of wire shielding. Much easier to just hit the block.

yup, and with a stock ignition and 8mm wires- that thing is pretty well insulated. the stock wires are run that way, and if there was a shot in hell that they would cross, i'm sure they would have gone thicker
