PLug for O2 sensors?
PLug for O2 sensors?
I got my mufflex y-pipe with O2 bungs (when I ordered without), so I need to find plugs. What kind of threads are they? Straight, pipe, etc? What threads are an O2 sensor. Thanks for the help.
Not sure about the threads on the O2's, but I do have a suggestion for you to try if no one has the info..
Take an O2 sensor to the Home Depot nuts and bolts section. They'll have a big board full bolts, etc. for you to try and see if the O2 will fit. Once you find one that fits (if you do, that is
), just get the corresponding bolts. You'll probably have to hack some off so it doesn't stick into the pipe too far, of course.
It's worth a shot - if you don't turn up anything there, at least it's free. Same sort of thing at Pep Boys, I believe.

I'm in the exact same boat. Just picked up a pair of drain plugs from NAPA. Says M18-15 on the plug and is NAPA PN: 704-1037. Fits the O2 bung quite nicely.
