Re: plug gapping

Yeah, I'm kind of doubtful of gains.

I recently built a 70 firebird for a guy, it's almost 11:0 to 1 compression, and he bought a hot coil from somewhere, and they told him to gap his plugs up to .065, but the car has a very slight miss from 5500 to 6500, and I think its weak spark, so I was wondering about this stuff. he should take his plug gap back down to something normal.

Re: plug gapping

Its old school technique for racing.... Still used today.... It does wear out the plugs sooner...
