I have a 97 z-28 with the m6. I just had the motor out to put an oil pan gasket on and while I had it out I put in the cc305 cam with matching springs and 1.52 rolller tip rockers and a set of BBK shorty headers. Well were do I start. I ran my car without a tune and it really stumbled around stalling when you stopped and didnt seem to have any power unless you got the rpms up. Now I got the tune and the car idled better at first but then started to throw some code 1356 wich i have no idea what that is, and the car sill isnt running right. I dont know if it matters but there seems to be a lot of noise comming from my valve covers. I know there are a lot of people in here that know a lot about this type of thing and i just wanted to know what you thought. Thanks for helping me out.

I cant find a code 1356. Are you sure thats what it is?

My guess would be that you didnt adjust the rockers right or fouled up the o2 sensors by touching them with oil when doing the header install.

Just a few thoughts.

1356 doesn't sound right to me either. Get it scanned again.

I think your RR's might not be adjusted right.

Are you sure you installed the cam with the right timing? Dot to Dot?
