Please settle a debate... 97 Z28, hp and tq, from factory

I believe that a 1997 Camaro Z28 came with 285 hp and 335 ft/lbs of torque. Is this correct?

Nope, horsepower is the same, due to dual cats and the OBD II they jumped it up to 285, but isn't the torque 325? I am not sure.

my 97 ram air is rated at 305 hp, maybe it's just the ram air that bumps it up from 285

Assuming 20% loss through the drivetrain, that sounds about right.

Are you sure you have 3.23 gears? I thought all M6 cars came with 3.42.

That's about right but the tq is a little too high. My stock 96 dyno'd at 285/312 http://www.dfwls1.com/hosting/albums...10485/Dyno.jpg
