i just need some advice...
i have a 96 Z and id love to build it up for the track as well as to have a little fun with on the street... however I just came across a gooood deal, a buddy of mine is moving to vegas and is getting rid of his 95 Z 6spd with 105XXXmiles on it...he told me that he'd let me have it for $3000... my question is this... spend the 3 on the car i have now, or buy this one... any advice would help me tremendously! thanks

Re: Please Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy the 95. You may find later that the OBDI of the 95 is easier to deal with when modding then the 96 OBDII. You could always sell one to fund your building projects. Or you may find you keep both and mod one and keep the other stock. It never hurts to have one spare for troubleshooting problems either.
I wish I had your delema!
I wish I had your delema!
The car is clean, well about as clean as an everyday driver gets... brand new clutch, new brakes, SLP loudmouth ,punched out cats, bbk headers...other than that the car is pretty much stock... It was never abused or raced on the street(because he's a *****...lol) So i mean I just dont know what to do... I wish i had the money to buy the 95 and put money into my 96...If I do end up buying the car, selling it will be the last thing on my mind, but o well thanks for the replies fellas... maybe I'll get some sleep tonight...
Re: Please Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Buy it...espesially if your 96 is a damned automatic. You will love the six speed. And it is always nice to have a spare because anything can break at any time anywhere.
Re: Please Read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I say buy it. It's always better to have two cars when you start trying to "build" a street/strip car. It will give you the oppurtunity to take your time and do things right without having to rush anything.
