I just had my ENTIRE valvetrain replaced
Now, I have an oil leak... 3 of them, or so people think.
Oil Pan Gasket, Front Main Seal, Oil Sensor Switch
DO ANY OF THESE seals/gaskets have to be touched when taking apart the motor for a valvetrain job? The dude he did my valvetrain insists he didn't touch anything, but I heard some different some a F-Body guy... now i'm nervous because I don't want no oil leak and i'm afraid some might be coming from my rear main seal which = broken clutch

It depends on if u had a new timing chain or cam put in. You said u had the ENTIRE valve train replaced so I am assuming the timing chain was replaced. If so then the front cover would have to come off, along with the balancer hub, the oil pan also has to be dropped down a tiny bit in the front to work the cover off and to put it back into place. If your talking about the oil sensor on the back of the block behind the intake then I dont think it has to come off to take the intake itself off. So front main seal (yes), oil pan ( technically yes up front), oil pressure sensor (most likely not).

So then this dude is lying? You HAVE to touch the Oil Pan (Gasket) to gain access to changing the entire valvetrain?

Can anyone vouge for that? I really need some hard evidence so this douche will fix this leak with his own cash. He says he didn't have to, so DID NOT touch the Oil Pan gaskets and it had nothing to do with him. I AM REALLY hoping it was his fault that way its all his problem and I don't pay a damn thing.

The LT1 is the same as all SBC and to pull the timing cover you need to drop the front of the oil pan, yes it can be done without that but it is a gorrila tactic that is not recomended. As far as the front main seal goes it definatly should have been repaced when he pulled the timing cover (it's a $3 seal and should be replaced if the motor had any miles at all)

There is no front main seal. There is a front crankshaft seal. The intake is probably leaking at the back and running down. It makes more sense then the oil pressure sender. He probably tore the oil pan gasket not dropping down the oil pan. Which would explain an oil leak at the front of the motor. Why not go out and look where the oil is coming from? Built on sin is right, this is another reason why you need to learn how to work on your own car. Also if you need to know what the K-member is i would recommend a search, and going to buy a Hayne or Chiltons manual. Good luck getting the thing sealed up.

If you get a flash light and shine it down in your engine bay... towards the bottom... you'll see a long black Funny shapped peice of metal that your engine is resting on... that is your gay member...

Yes you have to change the timing cover gasket to change out the timing gears and chain. Or you can just RTV it back.
Either way, its super duper easy to tear the oil pan gasket while changing the front cover. That too can be RTVed to be fixed, or you can drop the pan and put in a new oil pan gasket = big PITA.
You dont need to remove the oil pressure sender do do anything with the valvetrain, i doubt that was touched or leaking. Most likely the back of the intake (did he change lifters?) and that wasnt sealed well enough with RTV. Good luck.

If the timing chain was replaced, then the timing cover came off. The timing cover sits on top of the oil pan gasket, and it is very easy to tear the oil pan gasket while removing the timing cover.
