Let him know that the water pump drive seal is easily damaged on installation, you need to make sure the sealing lip stays pointed inwards.


Water pump drives are now unobtainium? I still have one in my "random LT1 parts" box I should put on ebay.

 

yeah, easy to tap it out with the intake off. These are good engines, but they got their idiosyncracsies
