Please list all items needed for a cam swap...
Just about ready to order what ever I need to do a full cam swap. Could someone list all what is needed before I order...
XE 230/236 on a 112 LSA cam
Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain
I know I need some new lifters but could someone recommend some that ARE in stock and not going to kill my $550 budget.
Will I need to swap to a 95 Timing Chain cover when doing the cam install? I already have the Mezeire W.P. on the car. YOu can click on my web page to get any details about my car you may need.

XE 230/236 112 LSA cam $239.95
Cloyes Double Roller Timing Chain $22
I can get a set of GM Lifters for $89.95 or Comp Cam for $239.00 and still will be under budget. What else is needed, besides gaskets?

Where can you get GM lifters that cheap? The improved lifter set that I have seen was about $175.

Through GM, employee discount.
I already have Crane 10308-1 Spring Retainer Kit on the heads that are on the car now. Along with Comp Cam Hardened 5/16 pushrods, ARP Head bolts, ARP Screw-in -Studs, Summit Guide Plates, 1.6 RR's with 7/16 stud and the Felpro Perframnce head gaskets.
You can get a Cloyes Double Roller cam for SBC for $20 through a source I wont say here on the board.
Im just trying to determine what is all needed to swap cams. Plus I already have LT1 Edit in the car.

It would have been nice if you had listed all that you had in the first place. Then people would not have been wasting their time suggesting items that you already had. A search and some cam install websites should tell you all you need to know.

Shoebox- All those items are plainly in my sig. I thought the purpose of a sig was to tell others what you have for mods. And if im not mistaken I believe we were suppose to keep it to 5 or less lines. My sig would have been 30 lines if I showed every little thing. That is why i created a web page. All you have to do is click on TA in my sig and it tells you everything I had. I thought I was just following the rules keeping my sig down and noe rambleing on like this in posts and threads
