Please Help! Smog w/Ported Polished heads?

I was wondering if there will be a problem passing smog with some P&P heads that I bought on ebay. These heads are for a 1995 camaro Z28. This was the discription for the heads off of ebay:

(Rebuilt LT1 Aluminum Heads. New stainless Steel Ferrara Valves, 1.94INT 1.50 EXT, 3angle valve job. New LT4 springs ,retainers and seals , Maximum lift .550 ,Resurfaced to 53.2CC . ALSO stock LT1 Rockers, Ready to bolt on. STAGE 2 PORT. After they got worked on the heads Never got installed. These Heads are Fully ported.)

Pleas help! I live in Cali.

Give me your gixxer and I will tell you, haha.

Seriously though, what cam are you running? If you are running the stock cam still you definately won't have a problem. How much did you pay for the heads? did you get any flow numbers? I don't think I would trust some heads on ebay. I would have them checked out first. Thats just me though.

Cool

I gotta second Sean's coments. I looked at numerous heads on Ebay before having Loyd port a set for me. Many people said they were "fully ported" or "stage 2", but didn't have flow numbers. I can't remember the last time someone paid good money to get heads ported and didn't get flow numbers. Several times I asked questions and they would say they only gasket matched or owner ported. Many of these heads sell for about what I paid Loyd to port my heads.

While you have it apart I would install a cam. As long as you keep it mild you will have no problem passing emissions.

I hope it works out for you.
