please help my intake is different(LT1)

please help my intake is different(LT1)

does anyone know why on my intake manifold my fuel rail only connects in the back and not the front . all others i have seen connect in the front and the back. this is buggin me ! please help my figure it out . thanks

You probably have a 1993 model. That's how they were in 92-93 on the Vettes and in 93 on the F-bodys.

thanks guys it is a 93 motor . but my car is a 95 . is that a bad thing ? it runs pretty good . have you seen my videos? they are th new ones when you click on videos from th main page

The 93 are different than the other lt1's which would expain why its the way it is.

It won't hurt you any.
Is the motor a 93, or does it just have a 93 manifold mounted on it?

Does your car have a MAF?

Not really an "Advanced Tech" question but you're new so its cool. Yes the '93s have the fuel rail crossover in the back. '94 and up have the crossover in the front.

it seems to be a 93 motor but they still have thu maf hooked up! if i unplug it the car dies !! but the car runs pretty good!!

Interesting ... I wonder if someone left the 95 PCM in there when they swapped motors.

Good to hear it runs well though

still has 95 pcm and 95 timming cover and distributor is pin driven
