Arrow Please help me figure this out

So I go out to my car the other day, and the thing won't start....It keeps cranking, but no go. I dink with it somemore holding the pedal to the floor....still, nothing. So I take my dad's car to work and he gets it started later that day having to jump it (cuz the battery died from all the cranking) and when he got it started, it stumbled and coughed and finally cleared itself up. He brought it to my work and it started fine when I got off work a few hours later.

Ran fine for about a day or two and today when I went out to start it....same thing! It would crank and crank and crank, but it wasn't even trying to start! I can't figure this out. It has only done this when facing the wind (I dunno if it's a coincidance or not) and I do have ram air. The day that it first did this, I did rinse the car off with some water and also sprayed under the car too.

Now that I'm donw with my disertation, my question is...

Could I have accidently sprayed water on the optispark? and now it does this intermittent starting thing? Or do you think it's related some other way...such as a fuel problem?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Could be a bad coil wire as well.
Mine had a bad one after I first bought it, it would start and run a couple times and then nothing, just cranks and cranks.
Coil wire was bad.
