Here is the video http://videos.camaroz28.com/video/ee...e4011ee274.htm
Read the description under the video as to where it is best heard. No codes, little to no knock readings, no retard, good vacuum. I dont hear the sound when the engine is cold but only once it gets warm. Doesn't sound like rod knock, and it is somewhat irregular. When I did the valvetrain 2 months ago I used brand new gm lifters, chromemoly PRs and trickflow guideplates. Mods in sig.

From what I hear it just sounds like a sewing machine... aka a loud valvetrain. A lot of valvetrains are just noisy, nothing wrong with them(it), just a little noisy.
Mine isn't quite that loud, but it's got the same sewing machine sound that is in your video. Ignore the tick in my video it was a loose converter bolt, but beyond that our valvetrains sound very similar, yours is just a little noisier.

It was the tensioner. The bearings were shot and once it got warm it made all types of noises. On a fluke decided to pull it off since the sound was driving me crazy and realized it once I spun it in my hand.
