Just finished up on some Jet-HOt LT's on my 96 trans am. The car was 2 1/2 feet in the air when I cranked it up. When the car was at a idle everything was fine but when I slightly reved or Especially at higher rev we noticed a leak coming from the front of the transmission pan on the upper right side. We touched the liquiid that was coming out and it smelled like gas and even had a brown tint to it like it was a mixture of oil and gas. I seen the leak come out with my own eyes along with my friends.
It seriously looked like it was coming out of the transmission pan or out of the cover that goes over the torque converter;
It was hard to tell.
Now what I am thinking is what in the H3LL is going on, what would it appear that a GAS AND OIL MIXTURE would becoming out of the upper front of the transmission pan or the back of the torque converter.
This has REALLY got me worried, any help guys PLEASE

Sounds like you're leaking fuel from somewhere... probably just picking up dirt and oil as it travels, from around the engine I'd guess... down to the flywheel and TC. Not sure what you could have done to cause a fuel leak...

 

leaks are very hard to follow. you cant just see where it ends and then say "ahah! thats whre you started!"

i'm guessing intake manifold leak or something... thats where mine came from. dripped down and into the transmission area.

TRUST ME, if you have gasoline in your trans you would have some SERIOUS issues. trannies can reach 175* so you might be in for a suprise

 

feel around the passengers side back of the intake manifold where the fuel pressure regulator is..I'll bet you come away with a handful of fuel.

 

Definitely check around the regulator and fuel lines.
