Unhappy Please Help...Again....

This is driving me nuts guys... I posted before about a serious hesitation problem i have developed.. and just today realized a few things that i thought might help with diagnosing the problem.......... i have a 1995 z28, M6, 114K miles... anyways.. out of nowhere my car decided to hesitate very badly.. but seems to do it ONLY after the car warms up to 175-180 degrees.. If i turn the car off after running it and let it cool for maybe 30 min then re-start , even if its at 160* it runs perfect.. as soon as it gets to 170 it acts like its no longer getting enough fuel... Also.. this problem seems to get worse during turning at stop lights or into my driveway.. the car almost stalls.. something else i noticed... before this started my SES light would come on all the time " i thought because i have no CAT" and it would stay on. Since the car has developed this hesitation NO MORE SES LIGHT.. thought that was kinda strange. also.. when i come to a stop the RPMS drop down to about 350 then it seems like the engine gets some fuel and it jumps up to 1200 then down to 850 where it normally is. If any of this makes you guys think of something that could be wrong please help. if you need anymore details just respond to this and i will answer ASAP. thank you ... one more thing. if im cruising and its constantly stumbling and the RPM's are slowly dropping the car will usually get a power surge and just TAKE OFF then it will go back to the hesitation... sorry to keep adding but... another thing i have noticed.. even though its hesitating and feeling like its not getting enough fuel... my gas milage has gone to hell... im guessing maybe 8-10mpg where as normal for my car is like 15-18

clogged fuel filter perhaps? This happened to my mom's car once and I spent a week checking every big part, and ended up taking it to a Jiffy Lube and they replaced the fuel filter and all was well... I felt like a dumb@ss lol.

Other possibilities is that your fuel pump is not working properly, then again, could be alot of things if you think about it... but I'd suggest starting small... most big problems are because of small things... reply with how it turns out !

UPDATE!

So i took the car into the chevy dealership to get some answers... Turns out the opti isnt working properly. They quoted me at $941 parts + labor. I need some suggestions on a cheaper alternative. Im pretty sure i can do the job myself so my questions are... 1.Where can i get a good opti for under say... 300 bucks. 2. while im at it is there anything else i should do? 3. i did the waterpump a few weeks ago and i think the leak it had is what killed the opti . Thanks for any info in advance.
