Installed new cam and put every thing back together and can not get any fire to the plugs. Opti set in flush and easy, pins are great in all the plugs but can not get any spark at all to the plugs.

 

1) Did you pull the ecm fuse when you did the job and forgot tp put it back?

2) Did you try another coil to opti wire?

3) Is your coil, opti harness etc. hooked up?

Yes every thing is hooked up, no I did not pull the fuse. tryed my old coil wire and the new one.

 

Do you have a Haynes manual some type of repair manual??

I would get one if you don't have one, it has some troubleshooting in it and it has a section that tells you how to test the coil, sensors etc. They are only about $20.

It is hard to troubleshoot over the internet but I would look at my coil or the spark module locaded on the drivers head.

 

my first guess is that you have the opti on wrong. i did that on my first cam swap. i couldn't get the car started for a couple weeks. i took the opti off and put it back on three different times and finally one time the car just fired right up. good luck.
