Question please help!!!

How do you run 2 o2 sims on 94-95 mac style shorties??? I've searched this but still have no clue. I don't want to run the 96-97 style because the driver's side header is all bunched up. Also, if I plan on running a 94-95 style borla cat-back on my 97, will everything line up properly??? Any help will be greatly appreciated and if you think of anything else that I should know, please tell me! Also, I don't want to convert to obd1!!!
Thanks.

You don't run O2 sims "on the headers" anywhere. You just plug them into the electrical connectors that the old O2 sensors were in, and then zip-tie them up away from dangling around.

thanks dave!

Thanks Dave,
Do you know if there's any difference in the number of actual o2 sensors in a 96-97 car compared to a 94-95??? Also, will this setup work if I run the 94-95 style cat-back with it???

Yes, if I remember right the 94-5 cars have 2 O2 sensors, the 96-7 has 4. I'm assuming you have a 96-7 car, and are looking at putting the 94-5 style headers on it?

The cat-back will probably work, but you'll have to figure out how you're getting a y-pipe connected up to it. I can't really help you with that one...

94-95 headers on a 97

thanks again,
I have a 97 WS6 and I want to run Mac Trufit headers designed for 95's. The macs come with a y-pipe and I will be purchasing an offroad pipe as well as I'm not running any cats. I'm just wondering how to install four o2 sensors when there's probably only two provisions for o2 sensors.Sorry about all the questions, I'm new and not too familiar with these cars!

Right. So you'll plug in the two existing front O2 sensors into the two bungs in the new headers. The two rear o2 sensors you'll toss in the trash and plug in the two O2 simms you're buying. You can also have the rear O2 sensors programmed out (and not buy the simms) if that's more cost-effective.

Like Dave said, all you have to worry about on the pipes are the front O2s. The sims you want for the rear, you do not have to even connect to the pipe, so you need no additional fittings or bungs. Just plug them into the harness and tie them out of the way (as Dave said ). Don't see why that won't work for you.

Okay

So,
if I run the 94-95 set-up with an off-road pipe all I have to do is install the two sensors in the bungs and the two sims plug into where the two other sensors used to plug in and then everything else should work perfectly?? Thanks again Dave, you've been of great help!
