It's a hard-top, six speed, power everything w/ approx. 80,000km's (or 48,000miles). The price is a little steep ($12,995.00CDN).
It looks good in the pictures (as they all do).
The thing to keep in mind about the price when comparing this to an LS1 purchase, is that the bargains on LS1's in the states don't exist here in the north. And I prefer the hard-top/six-speed combo.
Obviously, I'm gonna try to talk'em down a bit.
Is there anyone out there who thinks this is even remotely worth looking into? Or is the concensus that there are better deals out there?
Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks for any tips.

Waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced! our dollars are pretty close so that discussion is irrelevant.
The car would have to be so pristine to be worth that much that the chances are a car like that does not exist. My 95 Firehawk was turned into a 383 and it looked phenomenal and drove phenomenal and I did not get that much for it when I sold it.
For a perfectly running car, if it was stock, I would not even pay 1/2 of that price.

Hopefully little to no response on his overpriced car will allow you to swoop in a couple of weeks to a month from now. The average person is looking for 30 mpg or more, so keep an eye out if this is the one you want.
Where are you? Actually, if you want an F-Body, you'd be better off no matter where you are to locate the car at the price you like and go get it. Most of us know of cars for sale and pretty much the condition of the vehicles in addition to the risk of purchasing a particular vehicle depending on the seller. Saw a nice black pontiac convert the other day, for less than half that price---don't know anything about the car, other than it was sitting in front of a shop owned by a guy with whom I have done business with and believe is pretty reliable----just and example. So again, where are you and what do you want?
I concur with everyone else. I have seen fully rebuild cars on here with 450+HP with less than 2000 miles on the build sell for thousands less. The car is almost 14 years old now, that is a crazy price to pay for a 95. Unless it was a something special like a LOW LOW mile SS or FIREHAWK its not worth near that.
