Placement of electric cut out?

i think im finally ready to get my cut out but had a couple more questions. 1st where is the best place to weld it in(pics would really help out)? Is the ground clearence gonna be lower? How hard is the wiring? I plan on having a shop weld in the cut out and i'll wire it up.

I put mine before the bend that goes over the axle. the wiring is easy. i ran it through the carpet and put the switch above my cigarette lighter. DONT use ur cigarette lighter as a power source. i used my defroster button. hope the helps. just make sure u have the electric cutout on the actual cutout when they weld it so u will have the best ground clearance.!

Thats where i put mine. Ground clearance is ok.

Wiring is cake. Wire it to any ign on source. You can wire it to a full time source IF the switch isnt lighted.
