just curious,,how do u get the 385 cubes?
i have a 97 lt1 with a scat 4340 crank as well, thought that crank kept stock cubes?

The block is bored .040" - .030" would be the 383"

You won't see much of it once the motor is in, and with all the wires and stuff hooked up.

i was pretty sure boring 30 over was 355 cubes and 40 over was 357 cubes. to get 383 or whatever i thought u needed a larger crank.

mine is bored 40 over and i have the scat 4340 crank. i thought ihad a 357

.40 over with a 3.48 stock stroke crank is 357ci no matter who makes the crank. .40 over with a 3.75 stroke crank makes a 385ci motor. Reading his mods it stated a 3.75 Scat crank.

In your modifications it says you're still running the 48mm TB. Any plans to go bigger?

Yeah, someday when the wallet starts to fatten up.

Are thoes BBK headers? And why go with shortys? I take it you pulled it out and are putting it back in the bottom? Sorry for the random questions. Verry nice setup. Looks great.

Those are SLP headers. Long story short, I got them for half price new as SLP used my car for prototyping the Loudmouth system.

Yes, I pulled the motor out from the bottom.
