1.7! Sweet! I have no idea what that feels like. With my 2.4 on stock tires, i'd say im getting close

Naw i havent gone to the track in 3 years when the car was stock, so it'll be time for me to cut some awesome 60ft'ers soon.

Nice Launch!

i only ran it through the 1/8 and then let off 'cause the tranny slips on the 2-3 shift. i had the 150s in.

in comparrison, last season i went a 12.7 @ 110 with a 50 shot on radials with a 2.1 60ft and mucho spinning.

had the tranny been able to hold, should have been a real low 12 at prolly around 115ish.

thanks, jon

That's a nice pic. I wish I could post some of this past Sunday of my car. It ran consistent 1.69's with the left front almost off the ground and 1, 1.60 60' on the gas with the tire off the ground about 3-4 inches I only ran the n2o until the 1/8th and went 7.29 1/8thmi.

What kind of tires do you have? Any suspension work? Just wondering. Man, if I could pull a 1.7, I'm sure I'd be 12's.

It might just be me, but it looks like your car is twisting alot on the launch. Jon, do you have subframe connectors yet? If not I would put them at the top of the list for future mods. Just looking out. Nice launch.

Almost looks as good as mine...

No nitrous off the line, or anywhere for that matter.

DERRICK RED-

all stock suspension. took FR sway bar off, thats it. yea, im looking at some SFs and control arms now. prolly go with GMS. thanks for the advice!

TMDZ28-

yea, the motors all stock now. ive had the bottle on the car for abour 6-7 months now with no major problems. i dont normally run the 150s, i stick with the 100s. you wont kill your motor with n2o, just dont get carried away with the stuff! self-control

Nitto DR's rear. 275/50-15s. they were at 12 lbs on that run with a good smokey burn out. all stock suspension save for the FR sway bar removed.
