Pics of my VRE 383!!

For those who wonder what one might look like...

Damn she's purdy And damn they did a good job of taking care of it. That looks like a heavy duty crate. Thanks Nick and Eric!!

Should arrive here nice and safe on friday, and get put in over the weekend. My LE3 heads should be here soon as well, then all I have to wait on is those damn offset roller rockers from Jegs (on backorder)

I cant freaking wait

I got the package you sent me today with the valves. I haven't opened it yet, but it feels like it's heavy enough to have a few other goodies in there too. Thanks Daniel.

Definitely. San Antonio is on my agenda for sure. Get your LE3 VRE 383 up ASAP so I can hear it at WOT. Just don't get too wild or the SAPD will put out an APB and you'll be SOL.

I was hoping to have my LE1 package on the car by September, but... I'm being encouraged by more and more people to rebuild first. So it'll have to wait until after the trip.

Now that's what I'm talking 'bout Looking forward to good news from ya.

Nate, glad ya got the valves. I could only wish I could make that drive to KY. SOMEONE on this message board better be taking vids of the drive. Matter of fact Nate, I designate you responsible for doing tour documentary as you go through all of the states Nah, it would be nice though...

If the engine is built like the crate....it should be able to withstand a direct nuclear strike ..... very cool.

Since I already had the heads off, I just took it out the top. Well, actually the block is still in the car, lol. I still need to get a cherry picker There is a ton of room though. I just dont have all that room in my garage to pick the car up and take it out the bottom.
