I agree with the dude on top but with all the bolt ons to go with it. the 12.5 will have to be done with slicks and a hell of a driver.

I'm thinking of the 305,and the car was et streets on it.A local guy here has the 306 on stock heads ans can go 12.05 so I think I'll go with with the 305?.

I'm going with the 224/230 comp cam with 1.6 RR's and ISKY dual springs ... if you wanna wait a couple weeks till I get it done, then you can see how it does ... lol

I agree with either the 220/230 cc305 or the xe224/230. The xe will give you more lope. You will get about the same track times with either.

First of all, check out this thread. You might find some useful info there.

If you are on a budget, go with the hotcam kit. It will get you 12.5s if you hook.

Otherwise I would recommend the 224/230 cam. You can get it on 114 LSA if you want.

Both Kurt's suggestions are good. In fact, you might be best with the 305 since it's easily available and it's on a 114.

my buddy didn't even have a cam on his M6 96 WS6, when he made his bolt on only pass 12.6@109 with a 1.7 60' on moser 12 with nittos. Thats even without roller rockers. Headers, open borla, CSI h20 pump, 4.11 gear, asp crank pulley, tune, 160 stat, moser 12 bolt, nittos, short throw, LCA's, and SFC's I think. Thats it. With that combo he pulled those times. Granted the weather was definatly on his side, in the low 50's and low humidity.
