Performance?

What type of mods could I do to give my Z28 a little more power?

I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it came with Flowmasters and a K&N filter.. I'm not sure what else is done to it, but I would like to do some things, any suggestions?

a little vague, you think. First start is to get CAI (Cold Air Intake)....exhaust should be your next step.

A new f-body enthusiast needs to start somewhere, don't they?

Start by upgrading the breathing side of the motor by installing a CAI (cold air induction) package, then a good cat-back exhaust to compliment. From there, you can go with headers, low temperature thermostat, programming, gears, electric water pump, roller rockers, etc., not necessarily in that order.

The list is really endless. Once you install a CAI, you'll be bitten. There are tons of people on here who would love to help you with your quest for horsepower.

Good luck with your ride!

waste of money if you ask me. The throttle will seem more responsive, but thats it. You will gain no hp or mph... Save it for headers....

They will help, but not enough on a stock car to justify the price. You should be thrilled with a minimal gain. On larger displacement/HP applications, they help tremendously, but not for a stock motor.

Like everyone else has said, start with a CAI, Catback exhaust, gears and headers. You will notice a definite increase in performance in all of these. Im still saving for the Long Tube Headers.
