Percy's header gasket, quick RTV question

i bought a set of percy's header gaskets for the jet hot install, i know to put the smooth side toward the head.

the question is do i put rtv on them?
if so which side?

also i bought the percy's aluminum collector gaskets.
do i use rtv on them?

thanks
jesse

I used copper RTV on all of my exhaust gaskets. A thin coating on both sides of the gasket works for me.

The copper RTV is made for exhaust applications, therefore it handles the heat just fine.

As far as using them on Percy's header gaskets, I have no idea as I don't have headers or Percy's gaskets......

Thomas.
