I just received this cam in the mail today, I havent really heard anything about what they sound like though, I would be interested to hear a sound clip or description. Also, I ordered the cam and it came as PN 07-000-8 when the XE is 07-503-8. The cam card has the exact same specs on it as the 503 but the part numbers are different and no where does it mention XE, could this be a problem?

Does anyone have a tune for ported heads and this XE 224/230 cam on 112 lsa? I have one for the cc305 but I am not sure if it is similar enough? the CC305 is on 114 LSA.

Do a search on google for lt1 cam sound clips..

Ah hell here it is SOUND .. I'm thinking about buying that cam to, might just go with the 230/236

Obviously a 112 lsa cam will sound meaner then a 305 at 114 lsa, just listen to the sound clip..

Yeah, I really like the sound, I really like this cam because of its powercurve. I prefer midrange and more realistic rpm's for drivability.
