People with a Monoblade, how is your idle?
I've had a monoblade on the shelf for a year... a buddy finally talked me into letting him put it on his car. He ported the intake to match btw. His engine modifications are... a cold air kit and a cat-back exhaust. He just recently did this but he hasn't said anything about idle issues. I do believe it is working just fine for him.
I have one, but have not run it yet. I do have a question though. I have ported my intake for it. What do I do with the hole you uncover? Should it be welded up or can I just leave it? I am not really sure how the PCV system is plumbed through the intake and I don't want to suck oil into the intake.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Eric

The hole is for the idle air circuit which feeds air to each runner individually instead of using the main plenum. I guess the monoblade doesn't have a provision for this? You might want to make an adjustment in the injector offsets for each cylinder, richer up front and leaner in back. There are two tables I think, one for idle and one for off-idle.
How bout a pic of the back of the monoblade for the thread?
