people with longtubes please step inside

after installing my longtubes, i noticed that my heater core has a small hole drilled into the bottom of it, and sometime when i shut my car off, it dripps onto my headers and sizzles. has anyone else had this problem?

think something internal is wrong with my heater core? how do you check it? it works fine. but looked like antifreeze when it first started leaking. My cooland level hasnt changed.

Thats not your heater core. THat part belongs to the AC. It is just your ac lines that have condensation on them. But now with long tubes they happen to be right under where it dripped out before. MIne do the same thing. Kind of a frying bacon type of sizzle!!

Probably would be a good thing maybe to some how get the water to drain away from the header. That way it wont eventually rust it out once the coating starts to go away. I was actually planning on seeif if I could do that this week.

But for now its not hurthing anything.

Yeah when I use the AC the condensation pours out a lot for some reason. The last time I used the AC was last summer though before my Longtubes.
