People with Aeromotive FPR inside..

I am wanting to check my fuel pressure but the adjustment screw that is sticking out of the top of the Fuel Pressure Regulator is in the way....What have you guys done about this.....Maybe they make a gauge that would fit the thing.....Thanks in advance

Is the areomotive really that big that it gets in the way of the schrader valve?
I have a Holley AFPR and its not in the way at all.

Mine wasn't in the way. I'm just using a standard fuel pressure gauge from autozone.

Maybe I am misunderstanding here, you are trying to put the guage on the schrader valve correct?
Not the FPR itself?
the valve is to the left if you are standing in front of the car, I stand on the passenger side of the car to hook it up.
the threaded part with a little bolt sticking out of the FPR is too raise or lower the fuel pressure not to check fuel pressure.
I,m not trying to be an *** but I can,t see how it would be in the way of the schrader valve.

Maybe i have put on completely wrong but it was only way that i could see that it went.....I am trying to get the Fuel Pressure Gauge on the valve that is located on the passenger side of the fuel rail.....I can't get it on because the screw that is coming out of the top of the Aeromotive FPR is directly over the valve on the rail.....I can take the screw out and it would go on but it won't because of the screw being in the way........Does that help you out with what i'm talking about......

you have the regulator mounted correctly. the adjustement screw is not directly over the shrader valve, but almost. mine was slightly to the rear of the valve. just enough clearance to get the gauge screwed in. however when i had to make an adjustment to the regulator i had to remove the gauge line because it would rest against the adj. screw and keep it from turning. it is a tight fit but you can hook it up.

Mostly used as a tuning aid.

Is it good to use have one of these devices installed after Headers? I remember on my old car after I had headers the car was running lean or something liek that.....

Headers shouldn't cause a car to run lean, the O2 sensors and the computer should be able to compensate for any change the headers would make. I was talking more along the lines of tuning a combination in the computer, but I guess you could up the pressure a bit to compensate if the computer doesn't. Are you sure your headers were sealed up good with no leaks? That could cause an A/F problem.

none that I am aware of. any changes you make will be compinsated by the computer via the injectors within a few days. there's a thread on here right now that talks about it.

93s have been known to benifit from it.
