Hello all, i have a 71 rs that i am placing a LT1 from a 96z in. Yes it is a 6 speed. I'm thinking of rollin this cam http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=2012&gid=288 with ported stock heads, headers, CAI, 4.11 gears, to name a few mods. This car is a sunny day runner, im looking for a nice lope that will scare grandma sh!tless.

Anyone use this cam or one like it.

 

Bit large for a stock cube street car or stock heads but on paper looks like a pretty nice LTX grind - better then a lot of the lazy big duration/low lift off the shelf stuff that gets thrown in LT1s.

Nice lift with 1.6s, 110 lsa, and not rediculous duration.

 

bombebomb is running that same cam. Ive spec'd out a couple cars and have used that cam, and the 60123 which is larger.

Great cam, get 4.11 gears, send the heads to get ported, and you'll have no problems.
