PCV fitting under TB size?

I'm putting together a LT1 and having to get misc. parts to finish up. Does anyone know the size of the barb that needs to thread into the manifold under the TB for the PCV? I haven't had a chance to physically try different bolts and such yet and figured I would try my luck here.

Thanks,
Anthony

I'm not quite sure, but don't force any bolts in there. You will damage the threads. It is a pipe thread (which a bolt is not).

Thanks for that, I will definitely be careful then. I should be able to get a rough idea though on size cause it should still thread a couple threads before it starts binding up......at least that's the new plan now

I know taper and pitch are different, but shouldn't I be able to size it based on just physical shaft size? 1/4x16 bolt should translate to a 1/4x18 NPT or 3/8x16 to a 3/8x18?

I'm pretty sure it's 1/4" NPT.

Don't put a bolt in there. You can get all the fittings you want in that size at any hardware store.

no where close with that assumption...

for example: a 1/4" pipe thread is actually stating the inside diameter of the pipe the fitting is used for.. a 1/4" pipe tap is way bigger than 1/4"

It's just 1/4" NPT
