PCM tune

Should I bother getting my pcm tuned now or wait until I get headers? I'll prolly get emissions legal shorties. So is there any reason not to get the computer done?

Re: PCM tune

I would probably wait untill you do more mods, I didnt retune mine untill i installed my cam. I ran stock tune with headers.

I would wait until the headers are on to have the PCM tuned.

Re: PCM tune

I ran my car all last summer with the stock tune with long tube headers. It ran fine. I just now got a mad z28 tune for a litttle extra power, but mostly for the fan adjustments. I haven't been able to test it out yet. (winter storage)

Re: PCM tune

Aight, and how hard is it to do it yourself? I mean have them email it to you and then you put it in your pcm. I have a great laptop, so it won't be a problem.
