I get the .544 by taking the .510/1.5*1.6=.544

I was looking for a little something extra, so I went with the Hot Cam setup. If I wanted a freakin' drag car, I would have gone with something else.
And do you have any proof that the timeslip you posted is yours? Because a cam is hardly going to get you running 10.1s.
PS- I love your stick-on numbers in the window. Maybe I should go grab my timeslip that has the guy next to me running 9s, and then tell you I ran 9s.
Since you're too much of a big shot for us "homos," how about if you just tell us your mods, because you're not running 10s on a cam alone.

Unlike the rest of some people who wanna feel all good about their mods and pop their hoods etc I don't do that $hit. I don't need to. That's what time slips are for, and that's why HUSTLING is the first word in my vocabulary
There's toooo many local trolls that get on here and try to find out what's done to my car cause they all get butt hurt that they don't know.. Then their too scared to race for money etc. PLUS the beauty of knowing people at the track is that you can go there on a day when NO ONE ELSE is there and be allowed to run your car secretly so that NO ONE ELSE knows your time
Which gives me all the edge I need when hustling people on the street!

Would you like a medal, or how about an award for all your design time? That's great the that you are so proud of your stuff, as am I. My car was never ment to be radical, as it has to pass the AZ roller smog test. It is just there as something else to drive instead of my truck. I'm sorry to say I'll never post a time slip like that; mine all seem to have my 1/8-mile times on them too. So I guess that's my loss.
Thanks for the thumbs up, and the good luck wishes

You know it's true dude. There's no reason to get all butt hurt for someone stating their opinion. That's what this board is for! Your right not everyone wants to build a dragster and that's fine so don't whine when other people bash on little things that you have. Just cause you think it's a BIG CAM to YOU, doesn't mean that it is
Now if everyone will take a step back and remember that this topic isn't about measuring dick sizes with me, it's about a CAM. So me stating my opinion about CAMS IS VERY RELIVANT to this subject! So STFU and stick to the subject!

And I'd really love to know what secret mods you have that got you into the 10's too.

For one, help me out by NOT answering the question that I wanted to know, which was ARE THERE ANY DIFFERENCES IN DRIVESHAFTS BETWEEN THE f-BODY YEARS OF 93-97. Did that question get answered? NO You wanted to TRY to give me your expert 12sec car advice on driveshafts that I didn't need
And I'd really love to know what secret mods you have that got you into the 10's too.
SECRET mods
Jeez last time I checked all of the parts that are on my car are readily avaliable for ANYONE to purchase
Which the exception of like my cam which would have to be custom ground. So cry me a river

Oh, But you still showed us that. what if while it was up some guy that was thinking of racing you sees it? Anyway not trying to argue.
your car runs really well by the way.

And yes, going with the CC 305 would provide you with more mid range than the CC 304 you have.
While the 304 is quite a mild cam, it is great for a daily driver and as I mentioned, the only reason you'd need a tune is if you are an A4 along with the 58MM.
I'm just offering a possible option for the time being. I don't know that going with the 1.6s on the intake and the 1.7s on the exhaust will help you out that much, but it may be worth considering just what the differences would be comparing a CC 305 with the 304 and the RRs.
While a Cam will cost at least a couple hundred plus several hundered for installation (and you will still have to go with stonger springs) you might as well do the RRs along with the springs on the 304.
The only cost would be the RRs, Springs, gaskets, maybe different lgth rods, etc.
But the key is that you probably could do the job yourself.
And if you didn't have the spring seats machined to accept larger springs when you had them off, you could get away with a milder spring because the lifts would still be under .600.
Just a thought.

Your right, I don't know what I was thinking by trying to help someone out with a question they had. Good luck getting help on your questions from anyone around here with that attitude pal.

Don't get all butt hurt just cause you didn't answer my question and I was right and you were wrong! It's true and you know it. I asked about the DIFFERENCE, not how good you thought they were! Get over it.
And...since I can't seem to keep my mouth shut today, let me say this about that.
You really need to decide what style of driving you plan on doing when you are modding.
I decided that I wanted a really mild mannered street machine so I opted for the 210/224 with 510/552 lift (1.6rrs)
I only drive on the street.
Probably running around 350-355 RWHP with 4.10s.
If you are going to go with an aggressive cam, then that's fine, but the more aggressive the cam, the less streetable it will be (as a general rule).
And furthermore, the stock rears on these cars are not all that race friendly, especially if you are M6. So, in my opinion, going with big numbers, isn't going to get you from point A to...in less ET unless you can hook anyway.
So while your sitting there reving over 2500 just to keep from stalling and you drop the hammer against the guy with the smaller cam, with an A4 and DRs, you might wind up wondering how he was able to see through all your smoke as he shows you his spoiler.
That's what I'm talk'in about.

InjectedSS,
you are a rude person.............it almost sounds like you are 16 years old.
Don't lie.......that's daddy's car. Come on you can admit it.
Some of us have cars that will never even see the dragstrip. I'm here to find out the little things I can do to my car. Example: who makes the best intake (CAI).
I read this cam stuff because it sounds interesting........doubt I'll ever do it because I'd be bound to screw something up taking the motor apart as required for a cam install.
