passenger side check list..

hey everybody i finally got the drivers side header in whhhooo hoooo!!!!!!nut now tommorow im starting the passenger side can you please give me a list of the stuff i need to take off to get that bad boy in???im going to write them down and check each one i do...thanks alot it will be a big help....and if u want u can throw in some ideas that will make it go smoother...and it goes through the top right???

On the passenger side, take the flywheel cover, starter, and oil dip stick out, I think thats pretty much it, and with which ever headers you have can go in through the top or bottom, might be easier through the bottom, each car will be different and just depends on how you do things.

Flywheel cover isn't necessary. PAssenger side was the easy side for me. Took 5 minutes. Did jack the motor ~2 inches

Valve cover and I think the alternator if going in from the top (that's the only way I could get mine in)

I took the alt. off anyway just to make it easier. It only takes about 3min.

how do u get the dipstick out???i got everything out except the dipstick

I used vice grips, it's a biotch either way. There is like 6 inches of dipstick in the block. I pulled out 2" and thought I was almost done. LOL. I had to end up buying a new one, some people have gotten it out without damaging it though.

EDIT: Ovbously take out the bolt first, and I pulled mine out from the bottom by hammering on the vice grips.

I think mine was $15 at http://gmpartsdirect.com You will deffantly want to take it out.
