Re: Part Number: 1993 LT1 engine harness

I see 3 types, depending on codes..

Harness, eng elec

12145078 (lt1,c60,mn6)
12145079 (lt1,c41,mn6)
12145080 (lt1,md8,c41)

I believe it depends on the tranny..... This was found on Engine electrical for 1993 models... Might be old number also.. Maybe some one else will chime in

hmm, lol now its tricky, i thought the tranny might have had a seperate harness, i am an A4 - T56 conversion (T56 wasnt offered in 93, but the connectors are the same i believe)

T56 was offerd in the 93's. You probally just want to find a 6 speed harness. Ebay is your best bet.

You can't just plug and play a 6 speed harness. I did a T56 swap in my 93 and it seems like I had to modify the reverse light pigtail from the factory 6 speed harness and splice it in with the cars factory body harness.

Otherwize its just plug and play.. very simple.

I went to my local dealership to price one. I hope you don't have a/c cause it is around $1500 for the harness. I think it was somewhere around half that without a/c. I have a 93 m6.

crap, 1500. think ill look a little harder for a open wire then. i've got this high rpm stutter issue, but not throwing any codes or anything, and im running a delteq setup, it did it prior to the delteq aswell. if it was the opti itself the only thing it could be is the optical sensor, but if that was bad it wouldnt start at all.

Yeah, you don't want to pay for a new GM harness. They are big bucks.
