I have a 1995 z28 wit the a4. 4l60e and ive been having problems shifting at certain points, usually it would shift when im crusin around 45 into 3rd and lower the rpms, well lately its been shifting at 3500 and no other rpm ....when i got it checked out, they said it was the electronic switch on the driver side of my tranny????? can anyone tell me where i can get that from?? or the name of it?? thank you very much for any info!!!

 

I'm not sure, but maybe it's called the shift selenoid or something. Do you know for sure that's what your problem is? Also where exactly it's located?

 

its on the driver side, the shifter thing??? is there any way that the shifter will still shift into gears, but make it shift late!!

 

The shift solenoids are inside the transmission. More diagnosis is needed to pinpoint which solenoid and what your trouble specifically is.

 

My shifting problem after i got my tranny rebuilt, it wont shift till after 3000rpms and wont shift before it........
